I have been drawn to healing for as long as I can remember, from massaging my family and friends, to offering them herbs or a shoulder to lean on.
In 2001, I moved to Austin TX where I first began my massage journey, attending the Austin School of Massage Therapy and then in Florida at the Space Coast Health Institute in 2004.
I moved to North Carolina with my husband in 2005 from Florida shortly after finishing massage school and received my license. After a few years of working in spas, I spent 6 years at the Duke Diet and Fitness Center helping clients and their daily struggles with health and weight management. Since then, I have been in private practice in Durham focusing on therapeutic massage using a constellation of techniques. Missing being a part of a team, I decided to join one at Collective Wellness where they have welcomed me with open arms.
As a Massage Therapist, I choose to focus my life around the health and well being of my family, friends, and clients. I love to customize an individuals massage, whether it’s using all deep techniques or a combination of reflexology and reiki. My goal is to help guide you and your body to wellness through healing touch and communication. My specialties include Deep Tissue, Muscle Release Technique, Reflexology, Relaxation, Touch for Health, and Reiki.
For the past 6 years I have been studying herbal medicine and love to infuse herbs into massage oils. When I’m not massaging, studying, or concocting herbal recipes, I am spending quality time with my husband, daughter, and giant dog, playing outside, and beginning to build our little homestead near the Eno.
