All the experiences of my life shaped who I am, spurred my study of Holistic Health and led me to Rolfing® Structural Integration in the most profound and joyful ways. I had been introduced to Rolfing SI in the mid 1980s through my martial arts instructor and enjoyed the whole body awareness approach to the therapy, but I never completed a 10-series. After many years of martial arts training, rock climbing, hiking, and several spectacular accidents, my body was structurally unbalanced and bound by scar tissue that resulted in chronic pain and restricted movement. That realization started a search through conventional and alternative therapies for healing and relief, all without resolution. Until, finally, I came full circle and returned to Rolfing SI. My Rolfing experience restored the natural flow of breath, and gave me a sense of lift and vitality that I hadn’t felt for years. That new sense of freedom and resiliency inspired me to make a career change from Biotechnology to Rolfing. I am now a graduate of the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration and can proudly call myself a Certified Rolfer™. Rolfing SI is a whole body process that can provide a path to improved wellness and ease in your body. It is a wonderful gift that I look forward to sharing with you.
